- How was the Paris trip?
I must say that I never liked Paris as much as I like it now. This study trip was absolutely amazing because we as students visited a city where there is always something new to see and learn, you never get bored of Paris.

- What was the most unforgettable moment\experience during the trip?
Every day was an adventure, everyday was to remember. However, the most memorable moment was the day we biked around Paris, considering the difficulties we had, we all managed to survive.

- Which places have you visited?
I've visited, Notre-Dame,Jardin des Tuileries, Le musée du Louvre (only outside) Eiffel tower, Lido de Paris and an Irish pub called Corcorans, We also passed by some places quickly while taking the metro.

- What are the positive, and the negative things you've faced during the trip?
The positive aspects in my opinion is getting to know Paris from a new angle by visiting companies that as a normal tourist you will not do. Moreover, we all spent time together with our classmates and even made new friends which was such a pleasure.
A negative aspect, would be that the trip was not long enough

- How was the trip helpful for the study?
It was totally helpful, considering the fact  that we all have now an idea how the companies in Paris work, what requirements are needed in order to work in those companies in case of choosing Paris for the internship.

- Anything extra you want to add?
I would like to sincerely thank all my professors, classmates and fellow students who took part in this unforgettable experience. I learnt something of each of each one of you

Day 5: 13-11-2014

Days have passed and here we are at the end of our Paris trip. Early in the morning the students had breakfast in the hostel and then they advanced to their final visit of the trip, Stade de France.
In Stade de France the students took a tour around the stadium and visited the locker room where they saw the jerseys of the players. In addition to that, they are changing rooms for performing artist who perform in the Stadium.
The year 1998 holds a special meaning for this stadium. It held the world cup final where France won versus Brazil.
The stadium is also a place for many great concerts. It holds concerts for famous performing artists such as Lady Gaga and Eminem.
After the tour the students were a part of a presentation where the company explained how they manage the event and market for it.
Moreover, the visit ended sooner than it began and the students were on their way back to The Netherlands, but first a stop for a quick meal in Antwerp was necessary. The students enjoyed the city view while having their dinner.
By 9:45 the bus stopped in Deventer Train Station. Goodbyes were made and the Trip to Paris was concluded.

FIRST INTERVIEW : MR. AB WILLEMSEN

Dear everyone.

As promised, there would be interview with the first top followers!
The first lucky winner of the interview is : Mr. Ab Willemsen.

A picture of Mr. Willemsen with his family

The interview:

- What are your expectations of the trip?
Mr. Willemsen: that it's going to be a nice mixture of learning, understanding, entertainment and bonding. With blue skies and some nice Parisian sunshine.

- How excited are you for the trip? ( 1-5, 1 least, 5 most):
Mr. Willemsen: this is going to be my fifth Paris trip (for Saxion) but it never is boring. It's always been a 5+ in your terms.

- Which places would you consider visiting during the leisure\free time?
Mr. Willemsen: For a metro-pole like Paris impossible to answer because it depends on your Paris experience: first timer or not.
Even after having visited Paris so many times I still always enjoy walking up and down the Champs Elysees and stroll nearby the Seine river. While biking: just turn the corner and discover randomly secret hide-aways.

- What places do you recommend for students -who are visiting Paris for the first time- to visit?
Mr Willemsen: don't miss the (free) must-sees like Sacré Coeur/Notre Dame (churches) and Louvre/Musée d'Orsay  (museums). Students below 27 years have free entrance to state monuments/museums. And of course the Eiffel tower.  For eating: Rue Mouffetard in Quartier Latin. One big street with  restaurants from all over the world.  In general: food is often not too expensive. Drinks however can be outrageous so be careful.  Alternative: just buy a freshly baken baguette, get some French cheese and eat it in one of the parks. Cheap and vary Parisian!

- Anything more you would like to add?
Mr. willemsen: for partying explore the Bastille area (Rue de Lappes). Be curious, have an enteprenurial mind, exercise common sense and be careful when biking. Enjoy and have fun!
